We offer face to face to consultations with your doctor. Book an appointment here or if you have any questions please reach out to us on Live Chat.
There are a number of reasons you may be required to be seen face to face rather than over the phone. Some of these reasons could include immunisations, blood pressure checks, examinations or tests.
From the 6th of July 2020 new patients will require a face to face consultation if they are over 12 months old, have a permanent address and are not living in a suburb that has been locked down due to COVID-19.
Important Patient Information – waiting times
It is really important that you turn up to your appointment on time – not early and not late. This is because we have a limited amount of people that we can safely have in the waiting room at any one time. If you turn up to your appointment too early you will be politely asked to wait in your car until your appointment time. If you turn up to your appointment late you will disrupt the efficiency of the clinic. If you are running late is very important to call the clinic and advice our customer service team. We appreciate your assistance in helping us deliver a safe, efficient service.
Important patient information – people accompanying you to the appointment
If you can come alone to your special assessment clinic appointment then we ask that you do so. For children or adults with health issues who require a carer to be present, then we request you limit this to one person. These restrictions are in place due to the social distancing rules of the clinic and for the safety of everyone present.
Important patient information – changes to your condition
If you have developed any of the following symptoms since booking your appointment is very important that you do not attend the centre, but organise another telehealth consultation with your doctor to discuss your change in symptoms:
- fever
- chills /sweats
- cough
- sore throat
- shortness of breath
- runny nose
- loss of sense of smell or taste
